TOLERANT Software at the 8th Annual Conference on Data Governance & Compliance for Financial Institutions
At the 8th Annual Conference on Data Governance and Compliance for Financial Institutions in Frankfurt, TOLERANT Software joined forces with Dassault Systèmes to show how banks can successfully combine data quality, automation and regulatory requirements. The focus was on a presentation by Mihal Berberoglu, who gave a practical demonstration of how digital processes based on high-quality data can increase efficiency, compliance and customer satisfaction in equal measure.
The 8th Annual Conference on Data Governance and Compliance for Financial Institutions took place in Frankfurt on 4 and 5 September 2025. More than 50 experts and executives from banks, insurance companies and financial service providers discussed current regulatory requirements, data quality strategies and digital transformation. TOLERANT Software was represented on site as a partner together with Dassault Systèmes – and contributed to the programme with a highly acclaimed presentation by Mihal Berberoglu, Managing Director Global Sales & Marketing.
Data quality as the foundation for digitalisation
In his presentation “Digitalisation for Financial Service Providers with the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform”, Mihal Berberoglu highlighted the central role of data quality for successful digitalisation initiatives. He showed how fragmented processes, manual corrections and inconsistent data sources slow down business operations and increase risks. The solution: seamless integration of BPM ITEROP with data quality solutions from TOLERANT Software.
Using practical scenarios – such as digital account opening – Berberoglu demonstrated how address and IBAN checks, duplicate checks and name validations can be automated. This ensures data quality right from the moment it is entered, which not only increases efficiency but also provides regulatory certainty.
Berberoglu placed particular emphasis on customer benefits:
“Agility and digitalisation are the keys to success in the financial world. Only those who automate processes and integrate data reliably can meet customer expectations and demonstrate compliance requirements on a permanent basis.”
The interaction between TOLERANT solutions and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform enables institutions to make processes faster, more flexible and more cost-efficient, while increasing transparency and traceability.
Virtual twins as a strategic lever
Taherah Kuhl, Vice President of Business Services Industry at Dassault Systèmes, offered a complementary view of the strategic dimension of data management in her presentation. She introduced the concept of the Virtual Twin of the Organisation, which financial institutions can use to simulate regulatory frameworks such as DORA or BCBS 239, test governance models and run through risk scenarios in advance.
This turns regulatory obligations into a real competitive advantage. Banks not only gain resilience, but also innovation capability, because they can map their organisations virtually, run through changes at an early stage and make data-driven decisions. Especially in times of increasing regulatory requirements, growing customer expectations and increasing digitalisation, this forward-looking control can be decisive.
Conclusion: Data quality meets digital resilience
The conference made it clear that data quality, process automation and governance are no longer isolated issues, but are intertwined. With solutions from TOLERANT Software – from validation to the KYC module – and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform from Dassault Systèmes, financial service providers can not only meet regulatory requirements, but also make their entire organisation digitally future-proof.
For TOLERANT Software, the 8th annual conference was an excellent opportunity to showcase our expertise, highlight the practical benefits of our solutions in direct dialogue with decision-makers, and gather new insights from the industry. It also became clear that successful digital transformation can only be achieved on the basis of high-quality data – a goal to which we have been committed for years.
Trust begins with a collaborative platform – and a collaborative platform begins with us.
