Efficiency and stability taken to the next level: the release of TOLERANT Post 12.2
In data processing, consistency and reliability are key. It is often targeted optimisations that make the decisive difference in day-to-day work. This is precisely where our new release TOLERANT Post 12.2comes in: with more precise address corrections, greater operational transparency and support for modern IT infrastructures.
More precise address validation thanks to the new AddressDoctor Engine
TOLERANT Post 12.2 integrates the AddressDoctor Engine 6.8.1 with a wide range of corrections and improvements. We recommend that customers still using AddressDoctor Engine V5 plan to upgrade to Engine Generation V6. Upgrading to Post 12.2 provides a good opportunity to update the engine generation you are using as well. We would be happy to assist you in reviewing your existing configuration and planning the migration.
Customised address corrections via extended exception lists
In practice, address data is often complex. With TOLERANT Post’s extended exception lists, you can define your own specific corrections for known special cases. When matching against the lists, variations in upper and lower case, umlauts or diacritical marks are taken into account.
Separate output values allow you, for example, to replace a stored street name with a defined correction value. This enables you to determine for yourself which corrections should be applied to your data.
Greater transparency and modern infrastructure
A modern software product must be able to integrate into its users’ IT environment. With support for Helm Charts and the Gateway API, we optimally support the deployment of TOLERANT Post 12.2 in Kubernetes environments. We thus offer a future-proof solution for scalable cloud and container infrastructures.
To enhance operational reliability, we have also implemented OpenTelemetry tracing. This provides IT administrators and developers with additional transparency: error analyses within the processing pipeline or during engine calls can be carried out more quickly and accurately. This means less downtime and more efficient diagnostics for service requests.
Security through up-to-date libraries
Security is an ongoing process. With this release, we have carried out important library updates to protect the software against known vulnerabilities.
Conclusion
TOLERANT Post 12.2 is a release designed for practical use. It offers greater flexibility in address corrections, greater transparency in operations and support for modern IT infrastructures.
